Using authentic French popular music to teach language skills was the strategy. The lessons employ Carole Fredericks’ twelve song, power-packed Couleurs et parfums album. The French language comes alive in upbeat rhythms, memorable melodies, stimulating exercises and fun activities. The dance tunes, pop, rap and R&B song tracks are paired with lessons specifically created to introduce vocabulary and to reinforce listening comprehension, language usage, and pronunciation skills. Each lesson includes original French lyrics, pre-listening, listening and post-listening activities. Couleurs et parfums Activity Book and CD will save you time when preparing lessons. The ‘To the teacher’ instructions are easy to follow so you can use the lesson immediately.
